Last updated: March 2024

Services

ReviewMyCode.dev provides code review, technical audit, and consulting services for software projects. Services are provided on a project basis as agreed in writing before work begins.

Engagement Process

Each engagement follows this process:

  • Initial consultation to understand your requirements
  • Written quote detailing scope, deliverables, and pricing
  • Agreement and payment terms confirmation
  • Code access and review period
  • Delivery of findings and recommendations

Deliverables

Code review services typically include:

  • Written report with findings and recommendations
  • Severity ratings for identified issues
  • Specific code references where applicable
  • Follow-up clarification on findings

The specific deliverables for each project are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Confidentiality

All code, business information, and project details are treated as confidential. Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) are signed upon request before any code access is provided.

Intellectual Property

You retain all intellectual property rights to your code and materials. The review process does not transfer any ownership rights. Reports and recommendations become your property upon payment.

Limitations

Code review services are advisory in nature:

  • Reviews identify issues based on analysis but cannot guarantee detection of all possible problems
  • Recommendations are professional opinions, not guarantees
  • Implementation of recommendations is your responsibility
  • Reviews are point-in-time assessments of the code provided

Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed before work begins. Standard terms are:

  • 50% deposit before work begins
  • 50% upon delivery of the report
  • Payment due within 14 days of invoice

Alternative arrangements can be discussed for larger projects.

Liability

While every effort is made to provide accurate and helpful analysis, liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Modifications

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
